How bottles are made in factory?

Ever wondered how the bottles that package your favorite drinks are manufactured? How are bottles made on the interesting path. Let us have a close look with Anveena. 

A first bottle forming step is heating of a piece of plastic resin, which transforms into a parison -- in this case, the heated plastic ushered into container or preform cavities. Extrusion is the term for this heating process. At an adequate temperature, the resin changes its physical form to become a thick fluid which can be used to mold various shapes. This is an important step because appropriate temperature will make the resin malleable so it may be molded. 

That liquid plastic is then poured into a mold that has been molded down to appear the same as the bottle we are trying to mass-produce.  Strong arm pressurized are used a machine which is forced the liquid to changed the bottle shaped (size). This is a critical process since the liquid plastic must literally conform to the mold tool that creates an identical bottle every time. 

A Closer Look

Now that we have covered the main building blocks of the process, lets dive into each piece in details. Once the mold is filled with liquid plastic, it passes through a cooling tunnel on a special conveyor. The bottle like Wine Bottle needs to be well cooled within time so that it is allowed to come out of the mould and not crack.  

Then the bottle is ejected and finally trimmed of any extraneous plastic left behind. These machines are loaded with sharp blades that cut away any excess plastic from the top and bottom of the bottle, leaving a neat finish. Trimmings: This step is vital to assure that each bottle in manufactured at the highest quality. 

The bottle is then checked for defects and quality control. Workers verifying the proper and best bottle is used After the inspection, the baskets of bottles are inserted into boxes and ready for shipping to a store. The complete process can take from seconds to minutes. 

Making Lots of Bottles

So now that we know about how single bottles are made, on to the next phase of producing lots and lots of multiple bottles like Beer Bottle at a time. The manufacturing process we referred to earlier is of course done on a high level, and hundreds of bottles are produced at once. It is called mass production. 

In order to produce bottles in masses and within the shortest time possible, the machines which are used in the manufacturing process have to be very good and efficient. The purpose of these machines is to produce bottles throughout the day with infrequent breaks for a short while. That way we can produce a large number of bottles in a short amount of time, which is important to meet consumer demand. 

Blowing a set of these, at 40/hr, makes lots of bottles quickly and precisely. It boggles my mind, to know that these bottles are so durable and strong because they must be produced meticulously. 

The Science of Bottle Making

Though you may think that creating bottles can be done in a few simple steps, there is actually a great deal of science and craft behind each bottle created. Bottles, for example, must be a certain gauge as they need to be able to hold the liquid without collapsing or tipping.  This might cause the bottle to crack when it is too thin, and be too heavy to deploy when it is far too thick. 

The type of bottle also has a large influence on how the liquid is poured and consumed. Moreover the shape can influence how easy it is to drink from a bottle, something new bottle designs keep in mind

Making Eco-Friendly Bottles

At Anveena, we prioritize making sustainable bottles that are eco-friendly. By working closely with other scientists in the Solar and Heliospheric Group, they study a few different materials by various methods. 

Making the best of what we have – first and foremost, whenever possible, using 100% certified recycled fabrics. Reducing waste and minimising how much virgin material is consumed to produce our bottles. After that, we concentrate on producing lightweight and recyclable bottles. This results in lower energy needed to transport and process the bottles, good for our environment. 

At last, we need to make sure that renewable energy sources are used in our manufacturing. It decreases our carbon footprint and saves it for the generations to come.
