A first bottle forming step is heating of a piece of plastic resin, which transforms into a parison -- in this case, the heated plastic ushered into container or preform cavities. Extrusion is the term for this heating process. At an adequate temperature, the resin changes its physical form to become a thick fluid which can be used to mold various shapes. This is an important step because appropriate temperature will make the resin malleable so it may be molded.
That liquid plastic is then poured into a mold that has been molded down to appear the same as the bottle we are trying to mass-produce. Reducing waste and minimising how much virgin material is consumed to produce our bottles. After that, we concentrate on producing lightweight and recyclable bottles. This results in lower energy needed to transport and process the bottles, good for our environment.
At last, we need to make sure that renewable energy sources are used in our manufacturing. It decreases our carbon footprint and saves it for the generations to come.
